Master Cutlery P-51 Can Opener

This P-51 Can Opener was designed in the 1980s to be about twice the size of the original P-38. The larger size is easier to handle and opens larger containers as well as the smaller cans. With an all stainless construction the P-51 is a useful item to have in the pantry, camping bags, and survival kits. The P-51 is pocket-sized and consists of a short metal blade that serves as a handle (doubles as a flat-head screwdriver), with a small, hinged metal tooth that folds out to pierce the can lid. A notch just under the hinge point keeps the opener hooked around the rim of the can as the device is “walked” around to cut the lid out. The P-51 (51mm in length) is the big brother to the 1942 P-38 Can Opener.
